Keelung Customs stated that in order to implement mobile convenience services, the customs clearance service promotion team, led by Chief Secretary Shufang of Cheng, went to the Taipei Import and Export Chamber of Commerce to hold a symposium on the morning of May 13, 2015. In addition to promoting customs clearance practices and anti-corruption laws, they also proactively provided services to answer questions about customs clearance for import and export goods.
Keelung Customs explained that in order to improve the efficiency of customs clearance, this publicity activity mainly focuses on topics such as tariff classification of imported food , import regulations and common misreporting patterns , anti-corruption laws, auction and destruction of overdue goods , taxpayer rights protection laws, and prevention of illegal transshipment of Chinese-made goods through our country. It also provides publicity to participants and conducts discussions. It is hoped that through two-way interactive communication, the industry will have a better understanding of common problems in customs clearance practices, and remind manufacturers of precautions to ensure smooth customs clearance of goods.
